What We Do

The LRBOI Planning Department supports the Tribe’s growth, safety, and long-term vision through strategic transportation planning and public works services. Our team works closely with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to manage and improve Tribal roads, enhance pedestrian safety, and ensure reliable access across the community. We also oversee building permits to support responsible development, protect natural resources, and make sure new projects meet Tribal standards.

In addition, our department partners with the U.S. Census Bureau to strengthen Tribal data accuracy. This information helps guide funding, infrastructure decisions, and community planning for future generations.
