Probation

Probation is a sentence that allows an offender to remain in their community under the supervision of the probation officer. A probationer will be required to regularly report to the probation officer. Each probationer must complete specific terms to successfully complete their probation. Terms may include completing community service, random drug tests and breathalyzers, counseling, substance abuse treatment, and paying restitution. Completing these terms is crucial to successfully completing a probation sentence.

The Probation Officer supervises adults and juveniles placed on probation through the Tribal Court. The goal of the Probation office is providing a traditional approach to assist probationers in complying with and completing their probation terms.
