I want to give you some updates since my last message.

We continue in court over the 2026 budget and will probably continue for at least a couple more weeks, if not longer. We've begun the 2027 budget and it looks to have some substantial cuts across the board. The Cost of Living has affected everything and everyone. We are working hard to come up with the best plan to benefit our Tribe and its members. 

Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, a federally recognized Indian Tribe, is soliciting for proposals for professional exterior painting, deck staining, and restoration services for twelve (12) porches on rental units located at its Aki maadiziwin, located in Manistee, MI. 

Interested bidders may obtain the full RFP package by emailing a request to purchasing@lrboi-nsn.gov .  

Proposals are due on or before 4:00 P.M. EASTERN Time, September 16, 2026.
