The Purchasing, Travel, and Mail Office fall under the Accounting Department.

MISSION STATEMENT: The Purchasing Office is committed to obtaining goods and services to support program objectives.  Maintaining compliance with federal and tribal guidelines while maximizing efficiency and transparency in the purchasing process. Ensuring businesses are responsive, reliable, qualified, and possess the ability to complete transactions successfully.

Educational Activities In addition to the Tribal Education Programs listed on this website, the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Education Department also provides a number of educational activities for Tribal families. While some funding limits these activities to enrolled Tribal members only, most often anyone is welcome to attend. Please watch the Little River Currents for detailed information about the events and activities, and keep an eye on your mailbox for flyers and applications for some of these activities.

Elders Meal Program

The elder's meal program is a program dedicated to the health and wellness of our elders. Meals are served at the Aki Community center 4-5 days a week and once per month at the Hackley building in Muskegon. All meals meet the 33.3% daily recommended intake of nutrition as well as incorporating traditional foods.
