- Administer the collection of Tribal taxes on all business activity occurring within Tribal and Trust lands.
- Assist Tribal citizens in obtaining exemption from State taxes as negotiated in the Tax Agreement between the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians and the State of Michigan.

Office of the Tribal Prosecutor
Office of the Tribal Prosecutor
The Tribal Prosecutor is responsible for prosecuting violations of criminal and conservation laws. The Prosecutor also reviews requests for Tribal search warrants, warrants for arrest, and reviews all police reports presented by the Public Safety Department.
In juvenile delinquency matters, the Prosecutor will monitor state court proceedings and, in some cases, facilitate a transfer of the matter to Tribal Court.
