MISSION STATEMENT: To provide a safe environment for our citizens, protect Tribal sovereignty and preserve natural resources. We shall promote partnerships and uphold the rights of all people.
The Tribal Prosecutor is responsible for prosecuting violations of criminal and conservation laws. The Prosecutor also reviews requests for Tribal search warrants, warrants for arrest, and reviews all police reports presented by the Public Safety Department.
In juvenile delinquency matters, the Prosecutor will monitor state court proceedings and, in some cases, facilitate a transfer of the matter to Tribal Court.
