The Election Board has officially announced the 2027 Election and published the official election announcement. Individuals interested in seeking office may now obtain and submit the 2027 Declaration of Candidacy Packet.

As part of our candidate filing process, each prospective candidate is provided a copy of the Election Board Regulations. Please note that the regulations were recently updated and should be reviewed carefully before completing and submitting candidacy materials.

Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, a federally recognized Indian Tribe, is soliciting for proposals for professional exterior painting, deck staining, and restoration services for twelve (12) porches on rental units located at its Aki maadiziwin, located in Manistee, MI. 

Interested bidders may obtain the full RFP package by emailing a request to purchasing@lrboi-nsn.gov .  

Proposals are due on or before 4:00 P.M. EASTERN Time, September 16, 2026.

Recent heavy rainfall has caused flooding, erosion, and unstable road conditions across the area. Old House Rd is CLOSED and not accessible at this time. Barricades and road closure signage are in place. Please avoid the area entirely.

For those accessing other Tribal properties, please use extreme caution. Conditions remain unpredictable and may change quickly.
