On September 24, 2024, an enthusiastic team of ten volunteers from the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians (LRBOI) and Little River Casino Resort (LRCR) came together for the annual fall highway cleanup along a stretch of US 31, from M22 to Coates Highway. This marked another successful event in the LRBOI’s ongoing commitment to the Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) Adopt-AHighway (AAH) program, which is part of the tribe’s community service efforts. The team managed to collect 14 bags of trash from both sides of the highway, contributing to the ongoing effort to keep the area clean and free of litter. The total for the 2024 season is 23 bags of trash collected.
Thank You Volunteers!
